According to a US study published in the Optometry and Vision Science, “significant proportion” of contact lens users ignore much of the recommended wear and care guidelines. Led by researchers at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, the survey focused on knowledge and behavior of 433 individuals who visited eye care practitioners in Texas or a university eye clinic.
